Pre-Arrival to Bigfoot Podiatry

COVID-19

COVID-19 has created significant changes to our lives and the way medical services are managed. Your safety is central to your treatment at our facilities.  With your safety being the most important priority we have developed strong control measures covering:

1. Social distancing
2. Contact Tracing
3. Sanitisation and Hand Hygiene
4. Infection Control

Please review the information below to help us ensure your safety when you attend your appointment. Thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding during this time.  

New Clients

• New clients attending the clinic please complete the new client registration form here

Pre -Arrival

• Please do not attend the clinic if you:
  • Have COVID-19 or been in contact with someone with COVID-19
  • Are in Contact isolation or been advised that you should be
  • Have travelled internationally in the past 14 days
  • Have any of the following symptoms
    • Cough
    • High Temperature (at least 38 degrees Celsius)
    • Shortness breath
    • Sore throat
    • Sneezing and runny nose
    • Temporary loss of smell
• Email reception@bigfootpodiatry.co.nz or call the clinic to reschedule your appointment. We can provide Telehealth (virtual) consultations instead (please advise us if you require this)

Arrival and Post Treatment

• Come alone.
• If this is not possible bring one other person e.g. a carer, parent/guardian of a child. Others can come but we prefer if they wait in the car while you undertake your treatment.
• In the case of a minor/child more than one can attend the appointment
• Report to reception and they will guide you to either wait in the car or take a seat in the waiting room.
• Mask use is Mandatory unless you have a mask exemption
• 1m Social Distancing in the waiting area
• Paywave is available. An invoice can be created if required.
