COVID INFORMATION
- What Do I need to know when I attend the clinic?
- Mask use is compulsory unless you have a medical exemption
- 1m distancing is required. Reception will inform you to stand outside if the waiting room is full
- DO NOT ATTEND if you show symptoms. Contact the clinic to rescudule your appointment

- Can I be seen in the Red Light Level?
- Yes, we are open under all traffic light levels with strong infection control procedures
- If you prefer a virtual appointment we can arrange this please email reception@bigfootpodiatry.co.nz
- I am High Risk and do not feel comfortable coming to the facility
- We will continue to provide Telehealth (virtual) consultations or can make specific arrangements at the facility to ensure your safety is a priority e.g. coming in the weekend to see you
- How much do virtual consultations cost?

- Due to the limitations of a virtual consultations the service fee is reduced for Telehealth.
- There is a $40 fee to all our clients
- Does ACC cover podiatry during the Traffic Light System?
- Yes, ACC are supporting providers.
- When can I get my callus, corn and ingrown toenail treated?
- You can be seen at all traffic light levels
- Will it be safe to attend a podiatry treatment
- As a medical profession governed by the Podiatry Board we have very strict infection control, contact tracing, sanitisation/disinfection and social distancing policies in place
- Safety of our clients, staff and piblic health is a priority
- I am a Very High Risk Client,do you have safety procedures in place for me?
- Yes, we have a policy in place to managing the very high risk clients. These are treated on a case by case basis e.g. seeing you at the end of the day or start of the day
- If you fit this catergory please advise our reception team first and our podiatrists will call you to discuss our policy
- I am Unvaccinated. Can I attend an appointment
- Yes, under the Allied Health Profession we cannot discriminate on your vaccine status.
- Our facility has strong infection control procedures and is not deemed high enough to request vaccine passes
