After a steller performance at the 2010 World Basketball Competition Thom has been identified as a key player for the future. He has developed into a lsenior eader for the NZ Breakers.
Bigfoot were initially consulted to review his orthotics that wore out each year and needed regular replacing. An in-depth assessment of his basketball boots, running style and loading patterns during jumping and landing was carried out and we were able to customise a basketball specific orthotic to Thom's foot that can withstand the demands of basketball. A review after the World Champs showed no wear to the new orthotic and its still going strong dispite the high flying slam dunks he was doing!
We review Thom's orthotics each season and have been managing him during his return after his ankle anjury in the 2012 playoff's.
We congratulate Thom on his 2011 MVP and the NZ Breakers for there back to back wins (2011, 2012 and 2013) and the future opportunities that come his way.
