Terenzo (known as ‘T’) was the World Junior Triathlon and Duathlon Champion and has now focused his sights on winning Kona and the 70.3 circuit.
Bigfoot have assisted Terenzo since 1999, both as an international junior and now as a senior triathlete. He’s had a variety of knee and shin problems throughout his career due the demanding workload of his sport. In managing these injuries we have provided advice on shoe selection –particularly as his shoe sponsors have changed and his running style has developed. We have also prescribed a number of different orthotics as his running style, weight and racing distances have altered through the years.
Terenzo now uses a racing orthotic during the season that has been purpose built to manage his troublesome achilles injury. He decides when he uses orthotics for the pre-season phase when his risk of injury is at its highest.
We wish ‘T’ all the best in his climb to Ironman and 70.3 success and congratulate him on his great form at the end of the 2012 season. A 3.42 at the Miami 70.3!
