Peter is one of NZ's hottest talents in the sailing world. He won silver at the 2012 London Olympics and became World and European Champs in 2013 in the 49'er class. In 2008 Peter became the youngest sailor to represent New Zealand at the Olympic Games when he was 17 years old. Reaching 23 years old in 2014 Peter is already an Olympic medallist, a two-time Olympian, World Champion in the 49er (as well as World Championships silvers in 2011 and 2012), and a four-time winner of the New Zealand Young Sailor of the Year. He and Tuke were named 2013 New Zealand Sailors of the Year in what was arguably the toughest ever line-up.
Peter has won three world championships titles - in the 49er skiff in 2013 and in the 420 class during 2006 and 2007, and he led the NZL Sailing Team with ETNZ to victory in the inaugural Red Bull Youth America's Cup.
Peter was referred to us in 2011 and again in 2014 to review his shoe selection. He was not injured and needed sound advise on the best shoe to keep injuries away. A review of his injury history, running shoes and his style of running helped us decide on the best options. We wish him well for another busy year as he builds his way to becoming another legend in NZ Sailing.
