Rugby
Mike is an aspiring rugby player in the Super Rugby Competition. Representing NZ at U20 level, North Harbour in the ITM Cup and currently signed to the 2011 championship franchise, Queensland Reds in the expanded Super Rugby season for 2012. In 2011 Mike was nominated Rookie of the Year by the franchise and made the Australian Wallabies playing alongside Australia's premier players. Mike is currently playing for the Rebels.
Mike developed a common injury in rugby from unsupportive and low heeled boots – Achilles and calf strains. Bigfoot used an orthotic to fit his rugby boots and unload the Achilles. He uses this in training and playing to prevent future strains. Mike will see us annually when he returns home to monitor his orthotics for wear.
